Axiom Advisors Names Autumn R. Burke as Partner
Burke joined expanding firm in 2022; will be first new partner since firm’s founding
SACRAMENTO – In recognition of its robust growth and dynamic future, California-based Axiom Advisors, a full-service public affairs, lobbying, and strategic communications firm, is proud to announce the elevation of Autumn R. Burke to Partner. Burke will be the first new Partner since the original founders established the firm in late 2018.
“I’m honored to continue to be a part of Axiom’s spectacular success and look forward to serving as a collaborative partner in architecting its bright future,” said Burke. “It’s a profound privilege to be a partner in a truly great company that is growing and providing measurable value to clients spanning across every walk of life in California.”
Burke joined Axiom in February of 2022, after a distinguished career as an elected member of the California State Assembly representing the Los Angeles area.
“When we founded Axiom Advisors, we were guided by the principles of doing well for our clients and doing right for California,” said Cassie Gilson, Axiom’s Cofounder and Managing Partner. “Axiom’s remarkable success is because we’ve attracted people of high integrity, a strong work ethic and prodigious talent – and Autumn Burke embodies each of those qualities. We are delighted to have her helping guide Axiom to the next successful stage as we focus on expanding our services and footprint and continuing to deliver a competitive edge for our clients.”
Politics is, of course, in Burke’s blood. Her first foray into the public spotlight came in 1973 when her trailblazing mother, former Congresswoman and Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, became the first sitting Member of Congress to give birth while in office. As a baby, she appeared with her mother on the March 1974 cover of Ebony magazine.
Since joining Axiom Advisors, Autumn has focused on Axiom’s energy, financial services, infrastructure, information technology, community engagement, political and initiative work and diversity, equity and inclusion practices, while growing Axiom’s portfolio in Southern California.
